Quiet Mind Sleep (quietmindsleep.co.uk) is an independent UK website. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), the operator of this website is the data controller for any personal data described below. You can contact us via the contact page.
What we collect and why
Reading the site. You can read Quiet Mind Sleep without creating an account or giving us any personal information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request) for security and to keep the site running. These are retained for a limited period in line with the provider's policies.
Contacting us. If you email us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Email list. If you sign up for the 7-Night Quiet Mind Sleep Plan or other emails, we store your email address with the email service provider we use, and we use it only to send you the content you asked for and occasional sleep guides. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Legal basis: your consent. If the sign-up form is not yet connected to a provider, submitting it does not store any data.
Analytics. We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand which guides are useful. Where analytics tools set cookies or similar technologies, our cookie policy explains what they are and how to control them.
Affiliate links. When you click a link to a retailer such as Amazon, that retailer may set cookies and process your data under its own privacy policy. We receive aggregate reports about clicks and purchases; we do not receive your name or details of what you bought. See our affiliate disclosure.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site (hosting, email delivery, analytics) under contracts that restrict how they may use it, and where required by law.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
